The Mosby Group Experience

The MG Experience is a combination of Lean training, seminars, and benchmarking trips to different outstanding Lean manufacturing, healthcare, and service businesses throughout the midwest. While the host companies are in many different industries, all of them faithfully practice TPS and have made Lean a part of how they do business. The MG Experience gives the leadership team a visualization of World Class Lean; delivering an understanding of the commitment level needed for a comprehensive transformation.

Before the study mission, an MG Sensei will conduct a pre-trip orientation session and interview participants to better understand their personal objectives. The participant will establish a tailored agenda of study for the tour.

During the MG Experience, participants will get up close and in-depth site tours through some of the best Lean companies in the world. Tactics for achieving solutions to common problems will be in practice for participants to see and discuss. With the small group size, learning is maximized and the team returns focused, with a common vision.

Question and Answer sessions, plant tours, and reviews with senior managment will give insight on how to incorporate Lean in all areas of the workplace. Each evening, there will be a review session for reinforcement. On the final day, there will be a group wrap-up to reflect on the lessons learned and discussion on plans to share the experience with coworkers.

The MG Experience is five days of intensive training for applying Lean to the workplace. Participants will understand the importance of thinking through problematic production issues.
